An Interview With The Huck

Former presidential candidate Mike Huckabee is out promoting his new book, Do The Right Thing.

Hugh Hewitt of Townhall.com has quite an extensive interview with Huckabee on the book, the presidential campaign and a slew of other topics.

Quote:  I think it’s really a book about the future of the party. I think it’s a book that talks about the reason the sanctity of life issue is important. It talks about the importance of self-government, that that’s really the best government of all, that we can lower taxes and lessen government size and grip, but only if we understand that our system of government cannot operate in a moral vacuum. It has to operate in the context of people who are ethical, upright, moral and who are honest. And if we don’t have that kind of citizenry, our system simply won’t function. It will collapse within itself, and I think that’s what we’re beginning to see.
