Obama's Tax Returns

Obama's Tax Returns

Submitted by politicalWinters on Wed, 03/26/2008 - 7:28am.

If you're interested, Barack Obama has released his tax returns for the years 2000 to 2006.

Among the tidbits, Obama and his wife Michelle pulled in $3.9 million during that time-span. They also gave about $150,000 to charity, and yes some of that went to his church with the rather controversial pastor.

Nearly half of their income came from payments relating to Obama's books. His wife's salary went up to $317,000 during that period, when she was working with a hospital organization.
